* "Where can the birds perform?"

The Happy Birds can present their show inside or outdoors (in hot weather shade will be required).

"Is there any danger of contracting bird flu from the parrots"?

NO, our birds were all domestically raised, and never brought around poultry. The only parrot ever known to fatally contract the disease was a wild caught bird from Asia, that was kept in close quarters (quarantined in England) with over one hundred other birds. It was the only one that was infected.

Please keep in mind, the particular strand of flu in the news, has had no human or avian infections in this country or Europe, and was always contracted from poultry.

It simply does not exist here.

If you have more questions this might be a good site.

*"Can the presentation be done at a public park?"

Generally not, we have found over the years that many public parks are not conducive to an enjoyable, safe performance. Distractions and potential dangers, like unleashed dogs and  unruly park visitors can make most public parks less than an optimum location for the show. The few exceptions are: corporate or other large events, private parks and  private rooms in public parks.

*"When you arrive at my party, how long until the Happy Birds start entertaining?"

Usually, within five minutes of arrival Julie will entertain the guest by introducing a "bird in training" for your party goers to hold and interact with. This is being done while Ed sets up everything needed for the show (approx. duration of setup is 10 minutes).

*Can we pet the birds?

Unfortunately no,

Our parrots love people, however, petting parrots if not done correctly can be harmful to the birds.

"What should I do to get ready for the Happy Birds at my location?"

The only things we require are space (8x8min.) to do our show and a safe environment for the birds. Others things that are helpful to us are parking close to the performance site and shade (if  needed). We bring our own table, sound equipment and everything we need to do our show.

"I am planning an outdoor show and it might be hot (or cold) ,can the birds still perform outside?"

Yes, if it is comfortable for your guest, it will be comfortable for the birds.
